Hello my fellow sickies! Anyone else battling a cold or other illness at the moment? I can tell you I am, and it's been kind of miserable. But to help you guys out, I thought I'd share some of my tips and must-haves for when I'm feeling under the weather.

Drink of Choice: orange juice, chamomile tea, or Sprite! Nothing feels better on my throat than these three things lately. It doesn't matter where I'm going, when I'm sick, I'm always carrying one of these things.
Slippers: when you're sick, all you want to be is comfy. So when I get home, you already know the first thing I slide on is my Minnetonkas.
Cough Drops: this should go without saying. My favorite is Hall's mint flavored ones. Not only do they soothe your throat, but they make your breath and entire throat feel minty and refreshed (which is a must when you're sick with a sore throat and going out in public!)
Vitamins: Vitamin C gummies, of course! These ones are my favorite. You can buy them at Target, Costco, or even Walmart.
Bath: when I'm sick, I feel it all over my body, so taking time to take a bath and relax always helps me get over a sickness. If you don't have time to take a bath, at least set aside some time to take a hot shower.
Makeup: when you're sick, the last thing you want to do is get ready. But if you have to go out in public and would prefer not to look dead, I'd recommend at least an eyelash curler (to make your eyes look wide awake) and under eye concealer (to hide dark, puffy under eye bags.) If you get a little red around your nose like I do, I recommend putting one layer of foundation on as well.
