· Concealer and foundation are a necessity. Tired eyes and a sleepy face isn’t a good look for anyone.
· Bring water! Nothing is more dehydrating than traveling!
· A facial mist is one of my favorite things to bring with me-anywhere. It hydrates your face quickly, locks in moisture, and makes you feel a million times better, especially when you’re in a stuffy car or plane for numerous hours.
· Bring a protective sleeve for your irons! When you’re in a rush and you want to leave, it’s usually right after you get ready, meaning your irons are still hot. You can purchase them at Ulta or any hair shop.
· Take only your makeup necessities. You don’t have to bring every palette of makeup, multiple different bronzers and blushes and mascara. Plan your outfits beforehand, and correlate your makeup with that.
· Maxi dresses are awesome for traveling. Comfy, doesn’t take up much room.
· Snacks. Fruit, pretzels, goldfish. Whatever it is, you're going to get hungry eventually.
· Roll your clothes to save space.
· Pack for the occasion. This is an obvious one, but look at the weather for where you’re staying, before you start packing. Also, bring a jacket. Just trust me.
· You don’t need a million different pairs of the same Old Navy flip-flops just in different colors. Like I mentioned before, plan your outfits as you pack so you don’t end up bringing clothes you don’t need.
· If you’re staying in a hotel, there’s no need to pack a blow dryer.
· Pack dry shampoo. For quick weekend trips when you don’t want to pack your shampoos, conditioners, etc., dry shampoo can come in handy. If dry shampoo just doesn’t work for you, bring a hat.
